Installation: Shut down all running programs. Double click on the downloaded file
(F2KSetup.exe). From the Setup window, click Next. Setup will check for previously installed versions. If a previously installed version is not found, you will be prompted to choose a location for the install. Click on the Browse button to
change the default destination folder. When installing new software on your computer, files are reconfigured to accommodate the new software. You can specify that backup files are stored for any file that is modified by the
FIT installation. If you choose this option, in the event you uninstall FIT, your files will be
restored to their previous condition. You may also specify where you would like the backup files stored. To change the default folder, click on the Browse button.
Select the components you wish to install. The first time you install FIT, accept the default component selections. If you ever need to reinstall
FIT, you can uncheck the "Initial Data Files" option. Click Next to continue.
Select the Program Manager Group you would like FIT to become a member of, in the Programs list under the Start menu. That's all the information the installation wizard needs.
After Installation After installation, the program will ask you if you want to create a new company or take a tour of
FIT using the demo data. We suggest you review FIT with the demo data. That way you'll be able to visit all sections and view and print reports before you set up your own company.
Technical Support FIT has extensive help integrated right into the software, but if you prefer to have a printed manual, you can download it here. If you are unable to view the manual, you will need to download Acrobat Reader, a free download from Adobe.com.
